We love our company logo and the colours in which it is presented.
We want our clients to know how and why our logo was developed, because we think it is the best way to get to know us.
The ‘R’ icon is a modern progression of an older logo; creating brand heritage from the surveying practice run by Mark’s father Michael Renshaw and Clive Robbins, which traded as Robbins Renshaw LLP; both Michael and Clive were Chesterfield based chartered surveyors for many years.
The logo’s three simple shapes come together to form the letter ‘R’ and show the profile of a person. Having this reference at the heart of the icon shows the importance that people have in our business.
Our icon is very open and the green is a positive ethical colour that conveys safety and our aspirations for client growth.
Mark, I just wanted to thank you for your continued support over the almost two years this had gone on. You have been so professional throughout, responding to countless emails, undertaking various bits of work on our behalf responding to many questions, some of which, I’m sure, were out of your remit to deal with, and we thank you, as we were out of our depth and your guidance has been invaluable to us, it really has.
Mark was recommended to me by a friend who is a respected property professional. I was looking for some advice on a flat/leasehold purchase that had become very protracted.
Mark answered my questions with great detail. He gave me all the information that had been missing in my quest to buy this property. The next time I need a trusted property professional I won’t think to look elsewhere and will always recommend Mark to anyone who needs a surveyor”
We have had the opportunity to work locally alongside Mark on a variety of residential and commercial projects, which has been a pleasure as not only is he professional but is rated highly within the community. I would like to thank Mark for referring us and would not hesitate in recommending Mark for the variety of services for which he offers.
Many thanks for carrying out a number of surveys for my clients over the last 6 months. Each client has come back to me with praise for your works and how reassuring it was for them to go ahead and buy the property. Not only do you produce a very thorough report but it is the conversations you have had with them that have but their minds at ease. Many thanks for your continued support and help with my clients. I will continue to recommend you to clients, friends and family.
Mark is a second generation chartered surveyor; since graduating in Land Management from Leicester De Montfort University and qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 2000, Mark has worked in private practice in Matlock, Chesterfield and Sheffield. Renshaw Chartered Surveyors was formed in 2017 to serve existing and new clients.
Mark specialises in property valuation and is an RICS Registered Valuer and Expert Witness, as well as a member of the Expert Witness Institute. Mark also provides landlords and tenants with assistance in rent review and lease renewal negotiations.
He has been a volunteer for the RICS charity LionHeart as well as for groups within his local community. In an ideal world, he will be found cycling, playing golf or, when the weather is fair, trying to tame his bees. If pressed Mark will admit to owning – but is certainly not safe to use in public – a guitar.
Philip qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2006 and worked in a busy regional practice – Mark Jenkinson and son - for the next seventeen years! During that time, Philip developed his role from general practice and valuation to a full-time agency surveyor heading up the Commercial Agency department.
Philip’s main focus at Renshaw Chartered Surveyors remains commercial sales, lettings, and acquisitions of all property types, but with a particular passion for getting his hands and boots dirty on a “proper” industrial / manufacturing sites.
Outside of the day job Philip is usually found engrossed in one of his many projects and can turn his hand to pretty much anything from building to welding to joinery. Then when time allows Philip enjoys travelling with his wife on their motorbikes, in their old Landy or on or in something else they’ve hired in which ever country they are in!
